You or your loved one has been diagnosed with dementia.
The Memory Care Learning Center (MCLC) is a community resource for those with and caring for loved ones with Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia within the Kalamazoo community. Through training and information, we help answer the question of “What’s next?” and provide guidance on how to best engage those with Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia.
Learning about Alzheimer’s and Dementia
The Memory Care Learning Center provides Alzheimer’s and dementia education and resources by delivering helpful information and expert guidance in a friendly and inviting setting.
To support our mission of reaching as many loved ones and caregivers of those with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia possible, please donate to the Memory Care Learning Center’s construction and programming.
Together, we will treat those with dementia and their caregivers with love and respect until a cure is found.
Memory Care Learning Center Opening 2021
In addition to virtual resources and support currently offered, a physical home for the center is set to open in 2021. Once completed, our center will be the premier Alzheimer’s and dementia education resource center in the greater Kalamazoo area. Free programs and support groups will be offered for individuals caring for someone at home or in a senior care community.
As an initiative of the Heritage Community of Kalamazoo, our physical center will be located at 300 Golden Drive, Kalamazoo, MI 49001.
